Debian: where it's at
I am sooo glad I ditched fedora for debian sid. My box is in the state it should have been a month ago when I moved from fedora core 1 to fedora core 2. Installed it last night in less than an hour (even used the beta installer--wouldn't you know though that the first releas cnandate installer came out today) and customized to my taste today while at the same time waching after my two daughters, adding packages for dvd and digital cam, nvidia twinview and openGL, kernel upgrade, games, etc, etc. One word: COOLNESS. I know, it's suppossed to be as cutting edge as fc2; right now though everything just works! I'm am not all that "up" on the debian development cycle; but it seems to me to be less sloppy or at least less enterprise driven (for sure) and more community centric than fedora. Me likes! I am very happy.
